Sessions start in August and September (4-month minimum)
- Collection and review of educational and personal histories, school records and educational testing results
- Analysis of student’s interests, strengths, skills and academic/extracurricular goals
- Creation of key college criteria
- Extensive search of schools and programs to generate a list of potential schools
- Merit aid & scholarship essay assistance
- Curation of scholarship list based on interests and target colleges
- Advice on securing letters of recommendation
- Development of “to do” lists for educational testing, college visits, application completion and submission
- College visit advice and preparation
- College entrance interview preparation
- Review of appropriate timelines and college planning checklists
- Student resume creation and review
- College essay brainstorming and editing
- Critique of completed applications (up to 10 schools)
- Family conference regarding college preference
- Support with final enrollment decision
- Weekly (virtually or in-person) meetings (1 hour each) plus access via email to review documents, respond to questions, etc.
